After graduating Beijing Dance in 2013, he won a full scholarship to the New Zealand School of Dance in the Asian Grand Prix competition in Hong Kong, where he graduated with a Diploma of Dance.
During his professional dance career, Tony danced with Royal New Zealand Ballet, Singapore Dance Theatre and Queensland Ballet where he performed in various works such as Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Coppelia, Edwaard Liang’s Opus 25 and 13th Heaven and Nils Christe’s Organ Concerto. Some of his favourite roles include: George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations & Rubies, Choo-San Goh’s Schubert Symphony, Carmen and Firebird by Liam Scarlett, Kinsun Chan’s Sticks and Stones, Lunar by Rani Luther and A Folk Tale Pas de Sept (Bournonville’s Bournonville Divertissements).
Working with many well-known choreographers in his professional dance career, as well as teaching at numerous dance schools in China, Singapore and Australia, inspired him to become a dance teacher to pass on the experience and knowledge to his students. He is passionate about teaching quality classical technique as well as focusing on use of artistry.

Shane studied at the Queensland University of Technology where he attained his Bachelor of Creative Industries, Dance (Distinction) and a Post Graduate Diploma of Education.
Some other performances include: the prestigious “La Nuit Des Etoiles” Dance Festival (1993 & 1994), The Phantom of the Opera” (Australian Aids Benefit Concert in 1991), Rosetta Cook’s Little Green Road to Fairyland (QMF 2011) and Heaven Hell and Tango (Arts QLD 2013) Accented Body (Prescient Terrain) Richard Causer & Cheryl Stock (2006) Motel of Memory Jacqui Carroll (2013) Rhythm and Dance Southern Cross Soloists Rosetta Cook (2013).
Some of his awards include: Most Improved Dancer in 1986, Queensland Dance School Award of Excellence in 1991, Young Queenslander of the Year in 1999 PERFORM/4MBS Award.
She has also appeared in a variety of television commercials and fashion parades. As a teacher/choreographer, Nicky has had many years of experience teaching students from 4– 74 years of age in both jazz and tap styles. She has worked with dance students and has also developed original works for the Queensland State Education Department. Her goal is to help students of all ages nurture and develop the gifts they have been given and enable them to reach their true potential.
Although primarily trained in Classical Ballet, Jocelyn’s love for dance has propelled her to be exposed in various genres of dance. She participated in many various dance performances such as the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) in her school days, achieving Gold awards and ballet collaborations with Singapore Ballet Academy and Singapore Dance Theatre. Jocelyn has also achieved high merits and distinctions in her Modern Jazz Examinations under Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD).
In 2013, Jocelyn started her career teaching 3 years old children to 20 years old young adults mainly classical ballet and jazz, with 90% of her students achieving distinctions every year. To further her teaching techniques, she has also attained her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), to be a certified RAD ballet teacher.
Besides examinations, Jocelyn has also choreographed numerous solos and group dances throughout these years, for dance competitions and concerts. Her students have also won championships and awards in dance competitions.
Jocelyn believes that dancing truly comes from passion and hard work and through that she hopes to inspire children, to love and build up their passion for dance.
